Most Common Uses for Reverse Phone Lookup Directories

Posted in Mobile Devices at July 2nd, 2009 / Comments Off

Not long ago, everyone had a landline phone in their home and locating a number or address simply required opening the white pages and searching for their name. It is often more complex now that cell phones are in common use and many people do not even have landlines, and if they do their number may be unlisted.

Eventually society was turned on to caller ID, which of course allowed you to know who was calling before you picked up the phone. Unfortunately it didn’t completely do its job because there were many numbers that never showed up or would give you the big 3 responses (unavailable, restricted, or unknown). It’s why reverse telephone number search services have stepped up to help us change use of modern phones. When you use a RPL, there are two common functions available.

#1. Finding Names

If you are receiving calls from someone and only a number comes up on your ID, or you need to figure out cell phone callers, reverse phone lookup services can help you find out the name listed to the number in question. Just by entering the number you will be able to identify the person who is initiating the calls of concern.

People looking for this service include those wanting to check up on a number often phoning their spouse or teenager’s cell phone, since there is no accessible directory for cell phone numbers.

A reverse phone directory helps, when you are uncertain who the number belongs to that shows up on your phone. Others use this to find a number that may be for a home phone that is unpublished.

#2. Finding Addresses

The other major use for a reverse phone lookup is to locate an address for someone. You don’t need to know their name, but just the number. You’ll realize that after you’ve input the number, there will be additional information that comes from the RPL. It might be a land line number available, the address, past history of residences, and several other benefits.

Obviously there will be times where you don’t need all the information available. However, it is very beneficial when you have it at your disposal. Serious events in a person’s life can leave a reverse phone lookup directory one of the most important tool to utilize at the time. Take for instance when a child runs away, wouldn’t you like to know the numbers and addresses of all their friends?

When people are getting married, it’s hard to track down friends of friends of friends. Heck, even some of the people you knew in high school will be hard to track down. It’s hard to get a hold of busy parents, but if you take the time to utilize a reverse phone lookup system, you can get all the same information.

These services can also deliver a connection to other sorts of information, including income brackets or address histories, and one site even gives a map with a rough pinpoint of where the home or business is located.

Just keep in mind that this doesn’t come for free. There is a small charge for any reverse telephone number lookup directory out there, but it will be well spent if you use it wisely. You’ll realize it when you first take advantage of it.

If you are thinking that there is a way for you to get this information without paying the fee, there isn’t. You have to pay the to help continue to compile the research data needed to provide you with all the information you need.

There more than likely will never be a phone book for cell phone numbers, and even if there were most likely a lot of the numbers would be unlisted as is the case with many landline numbers today.

If you do not want to pay for single number display’s there are sites out there that you can pay a marginal fee and use the directory as needed, so that you are not confined to one number at a time.

It’s no secret that everyone gets some phone call throughout the day that is unlisted, private, or restricted. It can be irritating because most of us want to know ahead of time who is on the other end of the call. Unfortunately it’s hard to figure out on your own.

Ways to Find Out Anyone’s Name, Anywhere

Even those people that have unlisted telephone numbers can be identified with the assistance of a reverse telephone number lookup service. In fact, it does not matter if the caller’s number is unpublished or if the call was completed with a mobile phone.

While you may think that unlisted numbers completely block your access, the truth of the matter is it doesn’t. In fact, not only can you learn about who called you, but get a good background of where they live and even their past history. You’ll find that it’s just a number and even though the word “Unlisted” pops up, that just means it’s not in the phone book.

An unpublished number is a little more difficult to obtain than one that an unlisted one, but it is still possible to obtain an unpublished number. While unpublished numbers are omitted from most databases, they can still be retrieved by giving an extra fee to the telephone company.

You can use the free versions, but most reverse phone number websites offer more features with the premium packages. Some sites will give you a month by month bill, others will allow you to pay up to a year, and some will even give you lifetime prices. The only thing you have to do is figure out if this fits into your budget.

Once you start taking advantage of the reverse phone lookup systems, you’ll realize that just about anyone can be found. If you see Restricted or Private on the phone, you’ll enjoy knowing that you can still figure out who these people are and what they want from you. Just remember that Private means the individuals called their carriers to have that added to their resume.

If you plan on fighting off those “Private” calls, we suggest punching in your own code. See, in order for a person or company to learn about this, they have to pay an additional fee to the phone company. The money can add up fast, so make sure you use your reverse lookup phone number website appropriately.

Additional Reverse Phone Lookups Benefits

The most intriguing part to the RPLs is grabbing a phone number isn’t the only benefit you’ll receive. Businesses use them to figure out whether or not potential employees are being as truthful in their interviews as they say. Parents use it to look into the background of their kid’s boyfriends and girlfriends.

Also, having the phone numbers in front of you will allow a little more research on the Internet. When you have all the information needed, you will be able to make the proper choice about whether or not to call them back. However, there are other areas to think about as well like the business arena.

However, most people simply use these to figure out where harassing calls are coming from everyday. Then of course it’s another great way to show you new numbers of the old one you may have from years past. See, reverse phone sites can tell you a phone number your best friend had from 10 years ago.

Best of all you don’t have to drive down to the municipal building in order to get a hold of these records. Having the help of a reverse cell phone number lookup membership will allow you to do it right from your own home.

Posted in Mobile Phones at July 1st, 2009 / Comments Off

its either between the lg xenon or the at&tquickfire price doesnt matter

Answer:
LG Xenon, no doubt! They both have a touch screen and slide out qwerty keyboards, but the Xenon’s touch screen is way more functional. It is more responsive and you can text on it, which you cannot do on the quickfire’s touchscreen. LG Xenon is also better looking, it’s smaller and sleeker. I’d definitely go with the xenon.
